Note: There is another completely different tango called “Una vez,” with music by Osvaldo Pugliese and lyrics by Cátulo Castillo, recorded by Pugliese’s orchestra with singer Alberto Morán in 1946. That lyric will be featured in a future post.

Moría en los rayos de sol
and it sort of makes sense – that sunlight did not die, but the mists of darkness died in its rays, and the evening weather turned nice, and likewise the darkness of his soul dissipated in the warmth of her kiss? So I shoud stand corrected, is that right?
